The Dynamic 2D Barcoded Forms for Kofax Capture® solution provided by ImageTech Systems bridges the gap between paper and electronic forms with a solution that supports capturing the paper component of an electronic forms process—including the all important “wet signature” required by many processes. The solution enables organizations to streamline paper-based business processes and significantly reduce errors, time, and costs associated with manually re-keying data from paper or faxed forms. This has applicability with forms for transactions such as applications, requests for information, authorizations, etc.
HOW IT WORKS
Forms Design
This solution uses proven 2D (two dimensional) barcode technology to automate the capture of user-supplied data from “fill and print” PDF & HTML forms. Forms can be created by third party tools provided by Adobe® and others to design and create fillable PDF and/or HTML forms. These forms can be embedded with ImageTech’s dynamic 2D barcode generation solution to capture the data filled in by end-users. This ensures that when the barcode is read, all of the information on the form is automatically extracted - eliminating the need for manual data entry or OCR/ICR recognition processing.
Forms Processing
Forms can be scanned or imported into Kofax Capture for automated processing. Using ImageTech’s 2D barcode extraction module for Kofax Capture, the barcode can be scanned and the data is extracted with 100 percent accuracy and routed to enterprise business applications or enterprise content management systems. This solution enables organizations to streamline paper-based and online business processes and significantly reduce errors, time, and overall costs associated with manually re-keying data from paper forms and faxes.
