ImageTech Systems Professional Services

ImageTech’s Professional Services Team is composed of experts in the implementation and customization of our Enterprise Content Management Portfolio. Each of our consultants has years of experience in the ECM industry and maintain industry and partner certifications. Our approach for implementing ECM solutions is based off of years of experience and follows a traditional 6 step approach as depicted in the graphic below.

Requirements Discovery is a process where our consultants elicit requirements from IT and end users drive the technical, functional, and operational requirements for the ECM solution.  Critical pieces of information derived from this process are a clear list of all categories of documents, indexes (search criteria), retention rules, any automation needs, and workflow rules.  Sample documents are also collected during this phase.  This process usually involves meetings with these groups of people and concludes with a formal requirements document deliverable.

System Design has our consultants mapping the requirements to functionality in the ECM solution.  The result of this phase is a design document that can serve as a roadmap to the development and configuration of the ECM system.

System Installation and Configuration begins upon signoff of the design document.  Our consultants will install any and all necessary hardware and software.  After installation is complete, our consultants will take the design outlined in the design document and begin configuring the system.  When all configurations are accounted for, testing will be initiated.

System & User Testing serves as the checkpoint for the ECM system.  Our consultants will first perform System Testing to ensure that the system is working as designed.  Upon completion the system will be turned over to users for acceptance testing.

Skills Transfer & Training encompasses end user training and documentation as well as skills transfer to our clients’ technical staff.  Our consultants will prepare tailored documentation for end users to be able to complete their work quickly and efficiently with the ECM system.  The documentation will serve as an ongoing reference and will also be used as a guide for a hands-on training session.  During the training session, users will see how to operate the system and then have the opportunity to do their own exercises.  Our consultants will also review the technical design and basic application maintenance and troubleshooting for our clients’ technical staff to ensure proper transition upon Production Go-Live.

Production Go-Live includes all of the tasks to prepare the ECM system for production use.  Upon go live, our consultants are available for guidance, consulting, and troubleshooting during an initial period of production use.   Final system acceptance and signoff is obtained upon successful completion of all of these steps.
